GalleryMe Privacy Policy
GalleryMe is provided by Pineland Innovations LLC. No account is required. The app does not include advertising or analytics SDKs and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Your saved information
Saved places, visit dates, notes, saved exhibitions, and your selected exhibition city are stored in the app’s storage on your device. GalleryMe does not upload this information to Pineland Innovations. Device backups managed by Apple may include app data, depending on your backup settings.
Location and Apple Maps
When you choose to use your location, GalleryMe requests permission to find nearby galleries and museums. You can decline permission or turn it off in Settings and continue searching by city. Map searches send the search query and search area to Apple Maps. Apple processes information through its services under its privacy policy.
Exhibition updates and external websites
GalleryMe requests exhibition updates from www.pinelandinnovation.com. The website and its hosting provider receive the network information needed to respond, including your IP address. Hosting services may retain technical request logs under their privacy practices. These requests do not include your saved places, notes, exhibition bookmarks, or device location. The app uses a temporary network session with cookies disabled. Opening a museum website, directions, or another external link is subject to that service’s privacy practices.
Optional tips
Apple processes optional one-time tips through in-app purchases. GalleryMe uses Apple’s verified transaction information to confirm and finish purchases. Pineland Innovations does not receive your payment-card details. Apple maintains purchase records under its own policies.
Retention and your choices
Saved information remains in the app until you remove it or delete the app. You can remove saved places and notes from your collection and toggle exhibition bookmarks off. Deleting the app removes its local storage; separately retained device backups are managed through Apple’s backup settings. You can change location permission in device Settings. If you contact us, we use the information you provide to respond to your request. Contact us about access or deletion of information you have sent us.
